Position: Strategy Development Programme Officer
Location: Central London, WC1N
Job type: Full Time, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role:

Interested in how an organisation develops its five-year strategy? Keen to have a unique insight into all aspects of an organisation, working closely with the Chief Executive and the Director of People and Planning? Then this is the role for you!

We are just at the start of our exciting new strategy development work and are looking for an outstanding individual to support us over a 12-month period. Reporting into the CEO as the programme sponsor, you'll be monitoring all aspects of our strategy programme work plan, tracking progress and helping to prepare draft findings and outputs. You'll also see this work through to working with our Brand team on the design and publication of the new strategy.

You'll also play a key role in supporting our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in monitoring progress on SLT projects, working with a variety of stakeholders in the Charity and the Hospital.

About the Team:

This is a new role in the Charity, reporting into the CEO and working closely with the Trustee Liaison Officer and the CEO's PA. The role has a dotted line into the Director of People and Planning.

About you:

You'll be a self-starter with great organisational skills, experienced at working with a diverse range of stakeholders and able to win their confidence and trust.

- A commitment to delivering quality outputs.
- A business approach to problem solving.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Experience of co-ordinating strategy development programmes.
- Project management experience.
- Minute-taking experience.
