Fire Alarm Engineer

** EXPERIENCED FIRE ALARM ENGINEERS – KENT/ LONDON **

Highly recognised for their high-quality service & maintenance of fire alarm security systems, this rapidly growing, BAFE, NAPIT and Safe-Contractor accredited company are expanding and looking to hire a permanent, full-time skilled Fire Alarm Technician / Security Engineer to repair, inspect and test fire safety and security systems within their loyal residential, industrial and commercial client base.

LOCATION:  Kent/ London field based, you will need a full driving licence and be willing to travel around the London Boroughs. You may be living in and around the Bromley, Lewisham, Orpington, Croydon, Bexley, Greenwich, Sidcup, Swanley, Dartford, Gravesend, London areas.

SALARY:  £30,000 - £37,000 plus bonuses.

HOURS:  Full Time, 40-hour week.

You will be meeting with customers on a day-day basis, working to deadlines and busy work schedules, upholding the relevant health and safety standards. You will be carrying out a wide variety of fire protection/ fire detection/ security maintenance projects including:

*  Routine servicing & maintenance of fire alarm systems (radio, addressable, conventional)

*  Reactive call outs (currently, there are no requirements for out of hours standby)

*  Security alarm maintenance remedial work.

As an experienced Fire & Security Service Maintenance Engineer with a relevant fire safety background and a good knowledge of BS5839, you will have the ability to work independently, to problem solve and rectify any faults, you will have a positive can-do attitude, be self-motivated and able to communicate well with customers as well as the rest of the team of Engineers.
