My client is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join a team of dedicated IT professionals to deliver and support new and exciting IT systems into the Defence environment. The successful applicant will report to the Senior Engineers and Architects, helping build and design new systems, and providing support to existing systems.
Key responsibilities:
* Delivering to assigned tasks, taking responsibility for the task's technical output.
* Working within a small to medium sized team and will be able to direct tasks of more junior engineers.
* Ensuring the quality and delivery of solutions are to budget and time constraints.
Knowledge and skills required
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a technical background in VMware and Microsoft Server, either in a support capacity looking for their next step or as an established Engineer. You will have a keen interest in IT systems and their lifecycle. Any knowledge of Cyber Security principals would be an advantage but not essential. As your skills and experience develops, the successful applicant will expect excellent career progression and personal development.

The role will require all employees to achieve and maintain SC security clearance or above without restrictions that will inhibit the individual's ability to fulfil the requirements of the role. Your eligibility for the appropriate level of security clearance may be discussed with you during the recruitment process. Any existing clearance holders may be able to transfer clearance (subject to approval).
