Our client is a leading flood risk / flood modelling and surface water drainage consultancy. From its inception in 1997, they have grown to become a renowned global leader in flood modelling and flood risk.

Their UK consultancy team are dynamic, innovative and dedicated to ensuring their clients achieve the best possible outcomes. The primary work is supporting Private Developers (small and large). They further support Councils and Government in better understanding Flood Risk and Surface Water Drainage. They make the complicated simple.  The team is made up of Chartered Engineers and Environmental Consultants who boast a wealth of experience having worked in the field and office-based consultancy. 

Their work is predominantly UK based, however they do work internationally further demonstrating their presence as a market leader in Flood Risk.

About The Role:

They are looking for a self-motivated, reliable individual for an admin support/coordinator role within their growing environmental consultancy team. The candidate will be working alongside their existing Environmental Consultancy providing them with a range of administrative and project management support.

Key responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for client enquiries, answering telephone calls and deploying them effectively to relevant members of the consultancy team as well as project management of the full team’s project schedules.

The candidate will also be responsible for initiating projects, accurately recording sales figures and issuing invoices on completion of each project. Also, supporting the consultancy team by providing accurate proof reading, liaising with external agencies and subcontractors via phone and e-mail in order to obtain relevant data and work.

There are often opportunities to work with the wider company team in large event management, process development and marketing.

Candidate Requirements:

The position will suit a strong team player who is capable of independent and innovative thinking in a challenging, fast paced environment. The right candidate must have a proven administration background and will be a confident communicator with excellent telephone and email manner. You will have excellent organizational skills, and good personal workload management, be able to multitask, work to deadlines and follow processes.
