Parish Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer 

Part-Time,c (minimum) 32 hours per 4-week period Applications are invited for the post of Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer to Ansford Parish Council.

This is an interesting and varied post, working mainly from home, supporting a community focused parish council in South Somerset. You will handle the agendas and take minutes for our monthly meetings, all correspondence and financial accounts.

You will also act as a point of contact for the Council with parishioners. Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills (Word, Excel, email etc.) are required. A computer, printer and mobile phone will be provided, including filing cabinet and associated admin items.

Salary will be a single salary point subject to annual review within the NALC/SLCC Scale LC1 (starting from SCP 11 @ £10.97 per hour), subject to experience and qualifications, with some flexibility regarding an increased number of hours worked.

Attendance is required at once-a-month Parish Council Meetings (7.30 – 9.00pm.), at Caryford Community Hall, in Ansford.
