Rewards 

- Hourly rate of up to £10.50 per hour
- 40 hours per week 

Role and Responsibilities 

As a Powder Coating Operative, you will be responsible for the powder coating of manufactured products using an Electrostatic Powder Coating gun in a spray booth on a conveyor line according to specification. 

You’ll demonstrate the ability to spray powder to the correct thickness range. Working as part of an experienced powder coating team, you will have the versatility to spray to a good standard a range of products from aluminium extrusions, large flat surfaces and awkward profiles. You’ll ensure work is completed to the highest quality within specification, with complete kit and correctly labelled. 

- Cleaning down electrostatic spray guns and spray booths correctly 
- Maintaining the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction 
- Adhering to all Health and Safety legislation 
- Full training will be given on all our plant operations 

About You 

To be considered as a Powder Coating Operative, you will need: 

- Experience of using a manual spraying system 
- The ability to prepare parts for powder coating 

In addition, you will need to have:

- The ability to work as part of a team 
- The ability to work to targets 

Ideal candidates will have experience of working within a similar powder coating or paint spraying environment.

Please note, this is a shift-based role with varying rates dependent on the shift pattern (6-2 & 2-10). 

Shift rate £9.50 to £10.50 per hour.
