Our client based in Swansea is looking for an Assistant Scientist for an immediate start temporary assignment.
The successful candidate will have a Scientific Degree or equivalent and will be required to undertake routine/non-routine sample analysis for EU Directive reporting.
Previous experience in an ISO:17025 accredited analytical laboratory is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Duties will include:-

Previous experience in an ISO:17025 accredited analytical laboratory is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Duties will include:-
- Working as part of a team to ensure all samples are analysed on time and to the prescribed standards.
- Analysis and preparation of samples. This will involve various processes and techniques including automated analysers and manual meter reading.
- Understanding the laboratory's quality management system and how it effects every aspect of the analytical process.
