Executive Assistant / Office Manager

Salary £40,000 - £45,000
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week.

The Executive Assistant / Office Manager will act as an ambassador for our company and be responsible for managing a professional office environment, as well as being the first point of contact for our CEO, Directors and Board members.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Overseeing the efficient running of Board and Executive Committee meetings
- Providing comprehensive diary management and pro-active itinerary planning for our CEO
- Professionally managing communications including emails, post and taking calls
- Managing corporate events and coordinating staff social activities such as the annual Christmas event
- Warmly greeting visitors, clients, investors and colleagues to our offices from here and overseas
- Answering the switchboard and effectively handling enquiries (we don’t receive a high number of calls)
- Effectively managing the office including ordering supplies, arranging scheduled maintenance and managing our part-time cleaner
- Assisting with initial induction programmes for new employees
- Arranging suitable cover for front office duties when away from the office (eg temps)
- Administrative support for our HR and Finance functions
The Executive Assistant / Office Manage will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate/professional services environment supporting Executive and Board level.
Your flexible and professional approach, along with your ability to deliver work to a high standard with minimal supervision, will help you succeed in this position.
