Our client is based on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne and was established in 1985.  The Company employs over 470 people who are engaged in the design and manufacture of medium-sized hydraulic excavators.

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate to join their Graduate Development Programme within the Production Control Department.  Following successful completion of the Programme, you will be appointed as a Production Control Co-ordinator with key responsibility for inventory management.

The Development Programme will include training in the following areas:

  • inventory management;
  • engineering change co-ordination;
  • inventory reduction initiatives;
  • inventory status reporting;
  • continuous improvement.

The Graduate Development Programme is a permanent position, and for the right candidate there will be future opportunities for career development.

Our client is looking for candidates with a degree level qualification, ideally in a business-related subject, economics or maths with excellent numerical and IT skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.  A high degree of accuracy, and a keen interest in working with data are essential requirements for this position.
