Commercial Marketing Partner / Marketing Executive
Liverpool / St Helens / Warrington
£37,498

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Marketing Partner to join our client’s Communications and Strategy team.

The successful applicant will specialise in supporting the Directors within the commercial arm of the business, Housing Maintenance Solutions (HMS) and Developments, to ensure the delivery of high-quality communications and marketing requirements both internally and externally.

The company is an ambitious and well-established housing group with deep roots in their three heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.

One of the largest landlords in the North West, they have 1,500 staff, manage more than 40,000 homes, support around than 64,000 customers and invest at least £5m a year into local communities and life changing causes.

The Communication and Strategy team is a key enabler for the group and will provide a dynamic and flexible service, offering innovation and creativity in order to communicate the growth and success of the business, internally and externally and react to emerging issues that pose reputational risks.

As we move into a new era where positive external visibility is vital, in order to position and grow the business into new sectors and attract new partnerships across the Liverpool City Region and the Northern Powerhouse.  The Commercial Marketing Partner will develop a marketing strategy with Directors and teams that seeks to raise the profile of the business in these areas.

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Develop and manage creative and compelling multi-channel communications and marketing campaigns, aligned to business objectives.
  • Provide a first class copywriting service to the business appropriate for all audiences and across all communication channels, ensuring that materials and channels reflect the key business messages of the commercial functions.
  • Identify and source external suppliers to support the delivery of key projects and interventions, ensuring best value, quality and brand consistency are maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the communications and strategy teams to ensure that work plans are delivered effectively, often working under pressure to tight deadlines with occasional evening and weekend work required.

To be successful in this role, you will possess experience of preparing and advising on the structure and content for sales brochures, propositions and digital platforms.  Ensuring appropriate customer reach and impact will be essential.

An excellent communicator, you will possess experience of engaging with private sector clients, managing commercial communications in addition to developing innovative and creative external campaigns, which evidence measurable business outcomes.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess a relevant qualification in marketing, communications, media or equivalent professional experience.

You will be expected to take responsibility for your own workload and possess the necessary skills to be able to engage with Leaders, staff, peers, board members, and external partners, ensuring relationships are built based on honesty, trust, mutual respect and integrity to inspire confidence and respect.

Staff here share qualities that our client values highly. They are problem-solvers, able to work well within a team. They are open, honest and committed to doing the right thing at all times, and they always look for ways to do things better, focused on making sure they achieve their aims. If you can share this way of working, you’ll enjoy working here.

In return, they offer a modern workplace that is challenging, supportive and gives you room to grow your skills – along with a package of benefits that shows how much they value your contribution and care about your wellbeing.
