PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
LOCATION - ABERDEEN
DURARION - 6-12 MONTHS
HOURLY RATE GBPCOMPETITIVE DoE
ESS's Client, continue to push the boundaries of the design, manufacture, build and test of gas analysers and gas emission monitoring systems. Their equipment is found in a range of industrial settings. Key markets include process control, continuous emissions monitoring (CEMs), defence and security.
At present, they require Production Technicians on a temp basis to cover additional workload on site.
As Production Technician, you will operate to the Production Supervisor, where you will work on the production line manufacturing Polymer Clamps and general warehouse duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Adhere to HSE regulations
* Dealing with goods inward/outward including receiving, storage & dispatch
* Warehouse organisation & maintenance
* Ensuring all certification is up to date
* NyRim machine daily checks
* Set out of tooling and assembly of mould tools
* Assembly, engraving and inspection of product
* Preparing and loading mix into moulding machine
TRAINING REQUIRED
* Forklift Licence
* Manual Handling
* Health & Safety
* COSHH
* Working at heights
* Stock Control
* Document Control
* Trained in all relevant Roxar IT tools and systems
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Must have knowledge in Testing & Inspection
* Must have knowledge of moulding processes
* Must have knowledge of production processes
* Must be prepared to perform hands-on activities.
* Must be a good communicator with the ability to listen and talk - efficiently, constructively, professionally and with respect.
* Experience or background knowledge of drilling/completions/downhole/subsea would be an advantage
* IT skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,
* Must have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
* Must have an awareness of the environmental impact of design ideas.
* Must comply with COMPANY Integrated Management System when carrying out design Engineering tasks
* General Housekeeping of Warehouse
