The Opportunity

Due to our exciting immediate and future growth plans we are looking for extraordinary sales leadership talent to drive sales growth via account management initiatives in key segments such as Corporate Travel, Groups and Meetings, Travel Trade and Leisure Groups.

As a National Sales Account Director you will deliver the key segment sales budget for LGH portfolio of Hotels and effectively define and direct the strategic sales activity plan requirements to deliver the segment account portfolio's quarterly and annual sales targets. You will manage and lead the account managers to deliver annual sales growth and business targets and be a representative within the senior sales team, sharing sales expertise, defining and leading target led sales initiatives and supporting the Sales Director in developing a sales culture that will be successful in the delivery of the sales budget, group wide.

The scope of the role will give you the autonomy to proactively manage the segment relevant account portfolio allocations within the national sales team to deliver the total segment's quarterly and annual sale budgets for all hotels within the portfolio. You will be responsible for the quarterly analysis and review of total segment key account production providing a year end forecast prediction and present your recommendations to the Senior and Executive teams for future actions to address any shortfalls for hotels back on pace. You will direct and define key segment group sales activity campaigns, both local and national, to achieve segment quarterly budgets for each hotel and utilise total account management principles to plan, implement and personally deliver the strategic sales activity plans for all Key Accounts within national portfolio to achieve year on year account sales growth.

You will work with the Regional Director of Sales to ensure each of the hotels' commercial plan has defined proactive account management actions to achieve key segment sales budgets and lead the Key Account teams, group wide, to retain each hotel's top five account production and growth targets.

You will ensure that all account managers are set specific targets which you review monthly in order to ensure delivery of quarterly new business and annual account sales growth targets and personally achieve 20 monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure the account managers are consistent in their achievement of 40 monthly KPIs: appointments, Familiarisation, Networking, Exhibitions, Sales Blitz activity.

Essential Experience

??5+ years in the hotel industry working in a sales leadership role for minimum 2 years, plus

??3+ year account management experience

??Commercial acumen: forecasting, budgeting, business analysis, directing S&M plans and evidenced delivery of accounts production growth revenues

??Experience of consultative sales and sales success through personal and account team target achievement

??Sales leadership experience B2B /B2C markets

??Salesforce com, Ideas, Opera PMS proficient

* Ability to network effectively, numerous stakeholders

* Strong organisation and planning skills and the ability to prioritise appropriately

??Experience of managing sales in a Franchise portfolio and / or IHG specific
