Area Cleaning Supervisor
Area Cleaning Supervisor- Bridport - Salary 20K + van + fuel card - Immediate
Our client is actively recruiting for a Mobile Supervisor based in Bridport. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading service provider on corporate and retail sites, with a salary of 20K per annum.
Essential:
* 2 Years experience in a similar industry
* 6 Month previous supervisory experience
* Knowledge of COSHH and Risk
* Basic Knowledge of Health & Safety
* Full driving licence
Desirable:
* Trained to Bics Standard
* First Aid Trained
Responsibilities:
* All aspects of the cleaning operation at the sites allocated under your area of responsibility
* Report all absenteeism and general feedback to BM
* Support and guide operatives to achieve service levels
* Regular checks on cleans to specified areas
* Respond to cleaning requests as required
* Periodic cleaning as per specification directed by the BM's
* Specifically to manage all requirements of the cleaning services in line with the Contract specification.
* Carry out random wage, quality and equipment audits
* Assist BM in the recruitment and vetting process.
* Carry out annual Appraisals with all staff
* Basic training, motivation, discipline, Health & Safety and welfare of the staff under his/her control.
* To follow company procedures and systems as laid down.
* Line authority over the staff under his/her control, including appointments but not dismissals.
* To maintain relationships with employers representatives, and company personnel as necessary.
* To control and maintain staffing levels required providing a consistent daily cleaning regime, which meets the Contract specification.
* The completion of cleaning periodic schedules agreed with the Clients.
* Control and maintenance of all consumable stocks at each site. Stock requirements identified to BM to order.
* Monitor weekly absence details and additional hours worked. Provide BM with details and justifications.
* Undertake site familiarisation with all new employees detailing cleaning regime, waste procedures, opening and closing times of promises.
* Undertake Staff ID checks with all new employees.
* Ensure store-rooms are tidy and stock stored correctly. Ensure adequate stocks of all materials and consumables are maintained at all times
