Eden Scott is looking to recruit a Production Planner on behalf of a leading global Manufacturing firm based from their state-of-the-art headquarters in Fife. Due to winning a significant amount of new business, they are looking to recruit this role to ensure production orders for production cells are raised as and when required to the Master Production Schedule, monitor their progress to closure, allowing on time delivery of product to the customer
Key responsibilities:
* Primary point of contact for the day to day production plan sequence to the manufacturing leads
* Interface with project planning to establish supply of product
* Establish/develop contingency plans to orders that miss available capacity or components
* Forecast/evaluate/plan additional capacity requests where required
* Interact with shop floor, production/manufacturing engineering teams and material planners
* Support planning related visual management and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and experience:
* Degree qualified or equivalent in business, planning, engineering or technical discipline
* Capacity planning management experience
* MRP Material and BOM analysis
* Planned production order management and work order creation
* Customer facing experience - external and internal.
