Technical Support
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Hours of work: Full time / Part time hours available
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
Fresh Start are working with their long standing client to recruit a Technical Support Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client are part of the Aerospace, Manufacturing industry and pride themselves on the quality of their products.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Develop an appreciation of materials and their properties
* Handle technical enquiries
* Provide technical assistance with internal and external customers
* Have the ability to interpret customer requirements, requests and drawings
* To create and provide product solutions
* Work alongside the design engineering function to request customer specific and new product drawings
* Liaise with other internal departments
* Perform basic project management with internal departments
* Any other adhoc duties as and when required
Skills and knowledge:
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Must be able to communicate well (Face to face, over the phone and via email)
* Ability to deal with people at all levels
* Must be self motivated
* Be able to present to an audience with confidence in your capability and products
* Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
