Business Development Manager - Health & Social Care Recruitment.

Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

GBP32,000 - GBP35,000 per annum, competitive commission scheme, career pathway scheme.

In line with our strategic vison and ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within our Health and Nursing teams across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will be expected to grow and develop our existing accounts within this region whilst developing new revenue streams from the mental health, learning disability and children's/young offenders sector. You will be expected to liaise very closely with our operational teams to ensure contract implementation and service delivery whilst meeting contractual standards and KPI's.

You will report directly to our Sales Manager and will work very closely with him to develop, implement and execute key business development strategies. Although this is not a management role you will be expected to have management experience as you will be responsible for guiding and directing our branch office teams.

The Role

  • Generation of new revenue streams through our core markets and vertical markets.
  • Contract management of company key accounts within the region.
  • Implementing new contract wins in partnership with the operational teams.
  • Developing and implementing business development strategies with Sales Manager and Operational teams.
  • Developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies, particularly within the nursing and social care sector.
  • Developing strong relationships with managed vendors.
  • Ensuring company quality systems are being followed and adhered to.
  • Supporting Head Office with invoicing and account queries.
  • Supporting the Sales Director to develop regional and national business development strategies in line with corporate goals & objectives.
The Person

  • Previous recruitment experience is not essential. Ideally though, you will have conceptual sales experience in a business development role, customer service or call centre environment.
  • You will have a clear understanding of all stages of the sales process and a proven track record of winning new business.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience of developing and executing business strategies.
  • You will have experience of developing relationships with key decision makers at all levels.
  • You will have experience and be able to demonstrate growth of key accounts.
  • You will be highly motivated and ambitious individual capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • You will be financially motivated and eager to develop your career with the company.
