Senior Town Planner - York
HA 8364
Salary: depending on skills and experience
Due to continued growth, this established planning and development consultancy are urgently looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their York based team. The successful Senior Town Planner will be responsible for the successful delivery of residential, mixed use and commercial applications across the North of England.
Qualifications and experience:
Candidates are sought with Chartered RTPI status and a minimum of 5 year's planning experience, ideally with a mix of private and local authority experience. It is likely that the successful Associate Town Planner will have demonstrable business development and team management experience as a large part of the role will involve shaping and growing the existing team.
Duties:
Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of projects across England and Wales
Managing and mentoring junior members of the team
Actively contribute to the further growth of the team and workload
Building up a strong client portfolio
Responding to client planning enquiries, producing tender documents and negotiating with statutory consulteesBenefits:
