Job title: Assembly Operative
Location: Alcester
Hours: Monday - Friday 16:30 - 23:00 (working 6hrs but getting paid for 8hrs)
Salary: ?8.40 p/h first 12 weeks, ?8.64 after 12 weeks
As working only 6hrs but getting paid for 8, the actual pay rate is before 12 weeks is ?10.92 p/h
Actual pay rate after 12 weeks - ?11.23
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Day to day duties will include:
* Wood assembly
* Using various power tools, nail guns, saws and measuring equipment
* Operate to strict Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Meet challenging targets for product quality and efficiency
* Work flexibility and effectively as part of a team or individually
* Assist in continuous improvement activities
* Work methodically with good housekeeping and hygiene standards
Training will be given!
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Previous assembly experience (Advantageous, however training will be given)
* Must be able to you hand tools, power tools and saws (Essential)
* Must be able to use a tape measure (Essential)
* Physically fit (Essential)
* Eye for detail (Essential)
* Reliable & punctual (Essential)
* Team Player (Essential)
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment (Essential)
* MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT due to the location of the company
