SF Group have are working with a global manufacturing specialist, supplying a variety of industrial applications. My client is currently recruiting for the following role:
Role: NPI Quality Engineer
Duration: Permanent
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a key member of the quality and project delivery team to deliver exceptional components to a premium customer base.
Responsibilities:
Taking responsibility to support the New Product Introduction team, you will be expected to support the design and development of products through advanced product quality planning (APQP).
Through integral project processes such as FMEA, PPAP, and APQP, you will ensure correct modelling of manufacturing practices to reduce non-conformance of product.
Maintaining a framework of procedures and practices aligned with ISO 9001, TS 16949 and IATF 16949 and contributing to lean manufacturing improvements where necessary.
Work closely with all cross function teams to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget.
Person Requirement
Essential experience of Quality modelling with APQP and PPAP processes within a manufacturing engineering organisation.
Experience of working with multiple projects at any one time with the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Good customer facing skills.
