Non-Typical Sales Environment:

We're not selling a product, nor a service that requires an upfront fee. We are selling our expertise and ability to save clients money for where their business rates have been incorrectly calculated. We take a performance fee based on savings being delivered. It's a Win-Win. As such, this role does not require pushy or forceful sales tactics.

Business Rates over-payments are easily made due to the inaccurate calculation of charges or incorrect interpretation of legislation in force at the time. Our wealth of knowledge and experience, coupled with our bespoke software systems, means we are ideally placed to identify over-payments.

The Sales Consultant Role:

The role of the Sales Consultant will be to assist our highly effective Rates Audit team in contacting companies (of all sizes) where over-payments of business rates have occurred. A no brainier service if pitched correctly.

You'll be working with red hot leads with an excellent opportunity to generate good commission.

We'll support you and initially you'll only be required to qualify the leads and set-up meetings for our Senior Business Development Manager to follow up and close. As you grown into the role you will qualify and close deals. 

About You:

+ Previous Outbound / Telesales / Business Development experience
+ Experienced in making high volume calls if needed
+ Must feel confident contacting large blue chip companies as well as local businesses
+ Highly self-motivated 
+ Some professional experience beneficial although not essential
+ Experience with Business Rates would be great but again not essential 
+ Impressive track record with commission/ targets reached
+ Keen to progress 
+ Excellent telephone manner
