Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of the Leicestershire Police for an engagement and development officer on an initial 12-month temporary contract based at their Head office in Enderby.
This role will be working for the relationship and change team to ensure the effective delivery and engagement of working projects.
Other duties of this role will involve;
" To support the delivery of the police crime plan through community engagement and communications.
" Plan and implement and evaluate a variety of community engagement events
" Effectively evaluate consultation data to shape future strategies
" Support the Relationship & Change manager with key areas of work within the portfolio
To be considered for this role you must;
" Have experience of developing and implementing engagement strategies
" Have experience of experience of successful community-based communications activities
" Experience of working with consultation data, evaluating and delivering proposals
Due to the travel required in this role, candidates must have a driving licence and access to their own car. You will also be subject to police vetting so must contain a clean criminal record.
This role is working Monday - Friday between the hours of 8-6, the hiring manager is flexible if 37 hours a week are worked.
The hourly rate of pay is GBP11.75 per hour.
