The Waste Operations Team is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to increase the volumes of reuse collected at the Council's directly operated Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about environmental issues and reducing waste to landfill to join the team in the new role. Items suitable for Reuse are currently segregated at the sites and the Council is looking to significantly improve the performance through developing the reuse offering further.
As the successful candidate, you would become a key member of the Waste Management Team and engage with the site staff and contractors to increase the volume of reuse segregated at sites and maximise income to the Council.
