The Council directly operates 13 Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) and 2 Waste Transfer Stations. A new role has arisen within the team. As such the Council is looking to recruit a keen and highly motivated individual to assist with the management of the Council's directly operated Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) and supporting strategy, processes and procedures. As the successful candidate, you would become a key member of the Waste Management Team, ensuring the RHWS service complies with Environmental and Health & Safety legalisation and Council policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proactive, flexible attitude

• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a high performing team

• Confident with good people skills

• Has the right balance of practical skills

• Be able to work well in an office-based environment

• A relevant valid Certificate of Technical Competence would be advantageous

The role will be based across County Hall and the Council's RHWSs.
