Petemps Kettering are recruiting a Chef De Partie to join our clients skilled kitchen team.
As Chef De Partie you can take your first steps into becoming a vital part of our high-performing brigade. Spending your days serving delicious food in a well-equipped kitchen, developing your skills under the guidance of our talented Head Chef. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all operational procedures are adhered to, ensuring that the codes of conduct and standards of appearance, laid down by the Head Chef and are implemented and adhered to whilst upholding the core values of the hotel. It is your responsibility to ensure the Department operates efficiently to maximum profitability and guest care.

Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Control of ordering and storage of food supplies
Preparation and presentation of food to the agreed specifications
Adhering to Food safety standards
Ensure CPL courses are completed
Control, ordering and storage of food supplies.
Use suppliers nominated by Company/Chef
Order goods of correct quality and ensure appropriate supply of produce
Maintain good stock rotation and good storage of all produce, to reduce waste and meet stringent hygiene rules

Preparation and Presentation of Food.
Produce food according to agreed guidelines
Food should be prepared and presented using the highest standards of hygiene at all times

Food Safety Standards
Ensure the Company's H.A.S.A.W.A procedures are adhered to
Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchens are in line with Company standards
Ensure correct kitchen uniform is worn at all times
Previous experience in this or a similar role is desirable
You must have a good work ethic and be able to work in line with the Company's standards
To represent the Company and the Hotel in a loyal, professional and knowledgeable manner at all times
To demonstrate knowledge of the Company's Health & Safety Procedure and Fire Procedure
To, at all times set an example to the Kitchen staff in all areas of the operation
You must be able to conform to all of the Rules and Regulations outlined in the Staff Handbook and Staff Contract, in addition to those established by the Operations Manager
