As a professional Lecturer you will be required to undertake formal scheduled teaching duties as follows: teaching, tutorials, and student assessment. To undertake teaching responsibilities commensurate with the requirements of the post in a way which demonstrates the high standards expected of colleagues. Teaching commitments will be agreed and reviewed with the Head of Technology. This role will also work closely with the Programme Coordinator and Head of Curriculum to develop and implement improvement strategies that further enhance the quality of the curriculum offer.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 or higher qualification specific to Marine and Engineering subjects, and if not already held, will need to attain a teaching qualification within the College’s specified timescale. You will also have experience in industry related fields.
