Due to substantial growth, we’re looking for a Stock Controller to join us in Exeter at our Lear Browne & Dunsford headquarters.

Your Role

As a Stock Controller within the Stock Team you will ensure that we are optimising all aspects of our inventory, from ensuring that unplanned stock outages are minimised through to ensuring that our stock system is at all times accurate and up-to-date with the best quality information providing our customers with the best possible levels of service.

We’ve built relationships with some of our customers and suppliers over many years and we understand what they need and how they work. You’ll ensure that the stock we have is right first time and at all times meeting or exceeding our customers' high standards.

Specifically, you will:

- Manage our inventory
- Purchase stock based on company needs
- Ensure actual verses reported stock is correct
- Make sure that stock is stored to company standards
- Oversee stocktakes
- Ensure the integrity of our Sage system
- Manage day-to-day relationships with relevant suppliers

About You

To be considered as a Stock Controller, you will need:

- Experience in stock control
- Experience of using stock management systems
