As an Assistant Care Manager you will provide a high quality and CQC compliant care service to residents within the Extra Care environment ensuring care workers are appropriately recruited, supervised and retained.

Main responsibilities of the job include, managing care and support plans for new and existing residents, line management for a defined number of care workers, preparing rotas as well as involvement with recruitment and the training and development of your team.

The successful candidate will need:

A good understanding of CQC regulation and how to apply these in practice

Supervisory experience

Demonstrable, hands on experience in delivering care to adults

Experience of developing and reviewing care plans in line with people’s needs and preferences

Experience of organising staff rotas and scheduling of care calls

Within the role you will be required to work shift patterns and weekends as defined by the Manager
