Bakkavor Bread is based in Aston, Cheshire and specialises in making chilled speciality breads. It is one of five sites that are part of Bakkavor's Pizza & Bread sector in the UK.
JOB DETAIL
You will be an experienced HR Coordinator who is accustomed to a fast-paced environment, ideally from a manufacturing background. You will be responsible for the provision of HR support at the site and will be able to balance and prioritise a significant workload including volume recruitment, employee relations casework, systems maintenance and the provision of management information. Employee engagement will also be high on your agenda and you will add value to the Site Management Team with your business-partnering style.
Typical duties can include:
Carrying out weekly paid and Band A and B salaried recruitment working with line managers to ensure achievement of agreed manning levels, quality and skills requirements;
Co-ordinating the weekly absence management process working with Line Managers to highlight absence issues and ensure appropriate action is taken. Ensure there is a consistent approach to absence management.
Providing HR advice on day to day issues referring to the standard HR policies, whilst referring exceptional / sensitive issues upwards
Providing Admin support to HR team and line managers, in all HR matters, ensuring accuracy of information completed to records and systems in a manner which reflect the company values.
Administering systems such as T&A and the HR System, ensuring that the systems are kept up to date and the records are accurate, including holiday records.
Writing reports and providing statistical information as required by the business e.g. WTD, Hours worked, DAS, Turnover, Absence, KPIs etc. Analyse the information and flag up trends, issues etc and make recommendations on what action to take.
Project work including actions from the SEF, Site social events, implementation of HR processes etc
Advising and supporting on the first stages of the disciplinary process with Line Managers with support from a more senior HR person on site.
