Job Description:

A great opportunity has arisen for a Professional Services Surveyor, to be based in either Manchester or Leeds, to join a leading firm of property consultants delivering services with professionalism and integrity through their regional offices.  

This role requires a high calibre individual to ensure the team deliver the full range of professional services to clients, including lease advisory and property management.
The job will require someone who is self driven and already working in a similar role, preferably as a fee earner in the private sector
The job will require a skilled professional who has the gravitas to gain trust and respect from clients.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

You will be a Member of the RICS with post qualification experience.
Essential criteria:
  • Proven experience of managing a range of property lease transactions;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a confidence to communicate effectively;
  • Team player keen to be involved with all types of property and professional work.
  • Market facing with a proven track record in communicating with and securing new instructions/contracts;
  • Ability, and track record, to set personal fee targets and business targets, for oneself and a team, and deliver them;
  • Full regard for RICS regulations;
  • The ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to ensure that deadlines are met;
  • The ability to learn new skills and working methods and be adaptable to change;
  • The ability to accept responsibility and lead by example.
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office and willingness to use software for timesheets, HR, expenses, QA and CRM etc.
Main Duties:
  • Provide high quality property services advice to a wide range of clients;
  • To secure business opportunities for client development for professional services and the team as a whole;
  • Maintain and develop the company's strategy through the Local Plan;
  • Fee Earner – maximise own fee earning income and support the existing Professional Services faculty;
  • Client Manager for key clients;
  • Assist in the delivery of agreed financial targets and be responsible for managing own performance whilst exceeding in core technical skills;
  • Monitor and ensure awareness of appropriate technical guidance;
  • Raise the profile of the Company in the local market.
