About the Opportunity

At Studio Retail Limited we are experiencing a period of digital transformation and growth, and we now have a brilliant opportunity for a ER Advisor to join our fast-growing HR Team.

As the ER Advisor, you will provide legally compliant and commercial Employee Relations advice and guidance, building business capabilities to optimise self-service HR and people practices, delivering excellent HR transactional services that mitigates and minimises ER risks.

Core responsibilities

1. Providing effective and legally sound Employee Relations advice and guidance, ensuring the most appropriate and commercially beneficial options for ER and people issues are presented to support business decisions

2. Delivering efficient and compliant case management, tracking and monitoring ER and people issue trends to identify and maximise opportunities to continually deliver excellent HR transactional services

3. Providing and delivering training events to build the capabilities of line managers in accessing and applying HR and people practices safely and compliantly

4. Proactively maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures, ensuring the policy framework is up to date and legislatively compliant at all times

5. Supporting and contributing to the successful delivery of assigned HR and key projects

Who are we looking for?

* CIPD qualified or equivalent of ER advice and case management

* Extensive experience of managing employee relations cases within a fast-paced, customer centric, unionised and regulated environment

* Proven track record in delivering and supporting line manager training

* Experience of creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures

* Good working knowledge and awareness of employment related legislation and regulation

* Excellent working knowledge of compliance, confidentiality, data protection and security standards and expectations

* Proven track record of effective partnering with trade unions

* Professional, structured and organised in approach

* High attention to detail

* Experience of dealing with tribunal cases

* Evidence of continual professional development

* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships at multiple levels

* Ability to effectively coach and mentor others
