iRecruit are currently working alongside a manufacturer of bespoke luxury furniture company based in Leeds.
They are looking for a time served Bench Hand Joiner/Supervisor on a full time basis, with experience in all aspects of cabinet making, preferably in a commercial environment with NVQ level 2 or above in carpentry and joinery. The ideal candidate will be able to either work as an individual or as part of their small team to produce high quality furniture. On a day to day basis you will be working alongside the production manager to plan efficiencies and organisation of the factory and your team. Although this is predominantly factory based, there may be occasions when this role may require you to assist with the installation of our furniture.
Key Accountabilities
* To work with their team of skilled craftspeople to produce extremely high quality work
* To meet client demands, sometimes having to hit tight deadlines
* To be meticulous in your work with excellent attention to detail
Requirements
* Candidates must be apprentice trained
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK Driving license (Preferable)
* NVQ Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery (Essential)
* Must have your own basic hand tools (Essential)
* Experience with basic woodworking machinery (Essential)
* Experience using various board materials, veneers and timbers (Essential)
* Experience supervising a small team of co-workers (Essential)
Pay will be dependent on experience. This role will be temp to perm for the right candidate
