An exciting opportunity to work for a global organisation.The primary responsibility of a Business Development Manager is to contact prospects to uncover opportunities. The successful candidate will partake in an extensive induction programme, this will include sales, commercial and product training. The individual will have an opportunity to progress within the organisation at an exponential rate if they desire, remuneration will be adjusted accordingly.

Working days & hours: Full time 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday.

Reports to: Sales Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Proactive outbound calling.

* Allocate leads and manage customer's expectations.

* Schedule appointments and conference calls

* Communicate clearly and effectively with internal departments.

* Identify opportunities using advanced situational questioning techniques.

* Understand businesses drivers and evaluate customers' needs.

* Construct proposals and process orders.

* Log personal activity and customer information in Sales Force.

* Liaise with marketing for campaign activity alignment

Candidate Criteria

* able to demonstrate business development experience, outbound proactive calling.

* A-Level or degree educated or equivalent

Key Skills

* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

* Research and absorb key products and solutions.

* Effective time management between reactive and proactive tasks.

* Clear and concise telephone manner.

* Understanding of company hierarchical structures.

* Tenacity and determination to achieve mandated targets.

* Knowledge of Microsoft suite, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.

* Organisational skills, utilising technology.
