General Manager
We are currently recruiting for a talented, guest focused Manager to run our fabulous pub business - the Plough, Sewardstone. The Plough is situated near Waltham Abbey and is a popular business attracting people from the local area. The pub boosts an attractive garden with kid's play area, a well maintained interior and is particularly busy on Sundays with their renowned carvery offer. As part of McMullen's McFayre concept the food menu focusses on pub classics and can serve up to 1200 main meals a week. The right Manager will have experience of managing community business and driving local trade.
Key General Manager Activities
* Understanding the guests needs and responding to market demand
* Flawless execution of the offer
* Creation of sales driving activity on a regular basis
* Coaching and guiding the team - to get the best out of them every day
* Financial management of the business to deliver profit growth
* All aspects of licensing, food and health & safety compliance in line with the law
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: GBP26-GBP31k based on single manager, dependent on experience
* Accommodation: 3 bedroom flat
* Company contributory pension scheme
