The Production Manager will ensure that the manufacture, evaluation, fault diagnosis and repair of Electro-Optic products are carried out in the most effective manner.

Based in Sandwich, Kent our client are well recognised manufacturers within the defence and military space.
Description
The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacture, survey, evaluation, fault diagnosis and repair of Electro-Optic products are carried out in the most effective manner within agreed timeframes.
Make sure all returned product assessments and repairs are completed by the agreed timeframes
Create, monitor and report on KPIs of the departments performance
Control stock holding within the department
Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives
Attend customer visits in the UK and Overseas when necessary
Profile
The successful Production Manager will be able to demonstrate:
Current passport and full driving license due to travel requirements
HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
Electro-Mechanical assembly experience
Electro-Optical repair experience is highly desirable
Understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 standards
Management of complex products within manufacturing, ideally the defence sector
