Golf Operations Supervisors at our Marriott Hotels & Country Clubs enjoy a varied and very active role in providing our guests with memorable and unique experiences. Breadsall Priory features two 18-hole golf courses, including our Championship Priory Course, a putting green and driving range, all situated among 300 acres of sprawling Derbyshire countryside.

What do we expect from you:
• To supervise the day to day operations across the golf department.
• To provide a high level of service to all Golf customers, to ensure that financial targets are attained and that customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Ensure that staff are working together as a team
• Inspect work areas and staff uniforms for defects
• Assist in coaching, hiring and developing, acting as a role model
• To provide a hospitable environment for all members, visitors and hotel residents.
• Serve as a liaison between event coordinator and group contact in order to coordinate tournament or group golf events.
• Maintain lines of communication with golf shop to ensure efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with the starter, golf services, and golf grounds regarding any changes to the tee sheet.
• Coordinate with golf grounds on cart rules, course setup, and maintenance practices.
• Ensure the security of all golf equipment in storage. Provide directions to golfers to golf-related areas.
• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services. Order and stock supplies for guests. To contribute to retail policy and stock ordering, to maximize revenue potential.
• To assist in general shop and service-related duties to ensure functioning of Golf Shop as both retail and service environment.
