Here at HCUK Training, we are now looking to appoint a number of Skills Coaches to recruit, train, review, assess, monitor and track learners working, but not exclusively on employers’ premises.

The opportunities available are;

• Skills Coach Plumbing – Full time 37 hours per week
• Skills Coach Management – Full time 37 hours per week
• Skills Coach Retail – Part time 16 hours per week
• Skills Coach Multi-Trades – Part time 26 hours per week

You’ll be expected to deliver Apprenticeship standards where they are available and be responsible for coaching learners to achieve skills, behaviours and knowledge to pass their Apprenticeship to a distinction level wherever possible. The Skills Coach must maintain a minimum funded learner case load and contribute to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of Apprenticeship programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets and performance criteria.

So, if you hold a Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject, hold Assessor qualifications and have substantial experience, then we want to hear from you.

With the ability to inspire and motivate others, particularly learners, you will have recent and relevant experience of assessing in the workplace and have knowledge of local businesses within the area in the relevant occupational sector. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational skills and good knowledge of the Apprenticeship Funding rules and Apprenticeship Levy.

A PTLLS, CTTLS or DTTLS teaching qualification would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of internal verification.
