Elis has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Demand Planner (known internally as Textile Manager) to join us in Merton!

In the role you will control the linen management for the plant(s) and ensure that customer product availability is maximised whilst controlling the textile spend.

Monitoring customer demand and highlighting customers who are placing demand that is difficult, you will liaise with colleagues in Account Management (including National Accounts) and Customer Services to address customer problems.  In addition, you will monitor the financial impact of linen pool for respective sites and forecast demand (managing seasonal changes).

Educated to degree level or equivalent, OR with experience working in a highly customer focussed service environment, you will have with an understanding of laundry production processes and experience implementing continuous improvement programmes.

Able to work cross-functionally with all levels and roles within a laundry, you will have experience of regular reporting; financially and action related and a good attention to detail.
