Fixed term contract for 14 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, wide-ranging and proactive communications professional to join our College to provide internal and external communications support to the College Communications function.

The purpose of your role will be to create and deliver engaging, clear content across a multitude of digital and print communication platforms. You will work across our website and social media accounts, posting your work and responding to internal and external queries. You will be responsible for monitoring where our content is placed, ensuring that it reaches a wide audience and sourcing opportunities for additional coverage. Within this diverse role, you will also get the opportunity to assist with media enquiries and crisis communications as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced communications environment within a similar role. In addition, will be able to evidence success in writing high quality print and digital content as well as managing online and social media accounts. A confident communicator and excellent writer, you will be able to communicate with a wide range of audiences, translating medical and scientific information into understandable language. You will be well organised with excellent attention to detail and a high level of competency in IT packages.
