Our well established client who has a small farm shop, caf?? and butchery on site currently has an opportunity for a Kitchen Team Leader to join their growing team and to work within the caf?? side of the business. The role is looking to start as soon as possible and will be recruited on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis.
You will be required to work up to 5 days per week (30-40 hours) scheduled on a rota basis between 8:30am - 4:30pm, which will include weekend working so candidates must be flexible with this.
The pay rate for this role will be GBP9.50 per hour.
Duties of the role will include:-
Assisting with the cooking of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea everyday along with a daily specials board
Being responsible for the preparation and cooking of the tasty food that is served in the cafe
Taking fridge and freezer temperatures
Adhering to food hygiene regulations
Ordering any stock as required
Keeping the kitchen area cleanWe are looking for someone who has a keen interest in high standards of food quality and attention to detail, along with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
In order to be considered for the role it is essential that you have previous chef/cooking experience, have your own transport to get to site and can be available to start work immediately.
