Our client, a GBP2m turnover growing manufacturing business in Preston are looking for a General Manager / Operations Manager to come into the business directly under the Managing Director and alongside the Financial Controller, Engineering Manager, and Purchasing Manager, to help direct the business and efficiently drive the business operations forward.
You will be responsible for how the production floor and sales functions across the business, looking to improve processes and drive more efficient performance. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to maximise sales.
You will need to have performed in a general management role previously, along with a background in sales would be advantageous and you would definitely need to understand manufacturing and production lines.
On offer is a competitive salary paying up to GBP32,000 per annum plus benefits.
