AEG Presents requires an Artist Manager who will work on behalf of the artist and other related parties to handle negotiations, recording deals, publishing deals endorsements and other business affairs. The Artist Manager will be crucial in helping AEG Presents discover talent and then help artists achieve their vision through career planning and marketing strategies.


The role

What you will do:


● scout and evaluate talent for management and the record label;

● sign, develop and pitch prospective artists for management and the label;

● develop and maintain relationships with the artists and prospects through creative and consistent servicing techniques; 

● establish and cultivate relationships with music industry decision makers and business connections;

● attend a high number of live music events and performances; 

● play an active role in the creation of the album and songs; 

● create marketing strategies for artists on management and label roster;

● communicate with artists to develop marketing plans or tour goals for their music career; 

● establish deals for management artists which will involve negotiating contracts and booking events and venues which match the artist’s specifications and career strategy;

● provide UK and Europe product management, marketing strategy and execution for all artists on the label roster;

● oversee all touring activity; 

● advise artists on career decisions; and

● collect revenues, fees or other payments stipulated in contracts. 



Candidates must have:


● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing;

● minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the music industry;

● extensive knowledge of music industry operations; 

● unique and proven ability to identify talent that can become a commercial asset to the company;

● extensive knowledge of music trends in the UK and the EU;

● extensive knowledge of UK radio;

● experience in delivering A&R strategy and campaigns for commercial pop and dance music artists;

● excellent understanding of A&R budgets and numbers; 

● thorough understanding of how streaming services and DSP's operate - especially Apple, Spotify and Pandora; 

● a keen eye for raw talent, excellent communicator, people friendly and someone who artists can relate to easily; 

● creating and delivering pitches to prospective clients; 

● excellent communication and interpersonal skills; 

● financial experience building and managing budgets;

● live music experience including extensive touring set up and logistics experience;

● experience providing exceptional customer service and problem resolution;

● experienced in MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel; ability to learn all required business systems;

● collaborative with an ability to work as part of a team; 

● negotiation and Marketing experience;

● extensive music industry networks is required.
