In this role your primary task is to scope, plan and schedule E & I maintenance work including R & M’s cumulating in producing work plans in conjunction with the Team Leader.  You will also be expected to safely maintain continuous plant and equipment working with process and engineering teams to react to, and rectify, plant breakdown or mal-operation. You will be able to identify root cause of equipment failure and propose solutions needed to carry out required work. You must be able to demonstrate the highest standards with respect to safety, health and the environment and have the ability to contribute to on-going continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and systems.  You will also be used to following written procedures and Permits to Work to specified quality standards.   You will be required to be available for reasonable levels of overtime and call outs in order to maximise plant availability.

The successful candidate will have a recognised trade apprenticeship or relevant similar qualification ideally with respect to E & I. You will have a working knowledge of the types of E & I equipment used in a continuous manufacturing or chemical plant. Our client are looking for a team player, who is self-motivated and has a safe and responsible approach to work. A willingness to adopt new practices is also required for the role.
