Senior Staff Accountant
Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant. Our client, a successful manufacturing business in Peterborough, part of a major international group, is currently recruiting for Senior Staff Accountant.

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Staff Accountant role within the Investment Analysis team at its facility in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be required to perform forward looking investment appraisal on a variety of projects related to New Product Introduction (NPI), Product sourcing and manufacturing footprint decisions.

Whilst this opportunity sits within the Finance function, a key component of this role will be effective business partnering with Product Managers and other stakeholders from the wider business.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Key member of project teams working on New Project Introductions and other key business decisions

Post implementation audit (PIA) completion

OPACC Improvement Agenda (OIA) reporting and OPACC analysis

Product group profitability reporting and 5 Year planning support

Skills and Experience:

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

*Educated to a degree level or qualified by experience

*Professional Certification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

*The ability to demonstrate strong customer focus, accountability and effective communication skills

*Must be confident presenting financial information to senior management

Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

*Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) experience

*Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint
