Due to considerable, organic growth of the Scottish practice over the last decade, Burges Salmon has recently moved into the heart of Edinburgh's Exchange District. Here, you will be at the centre of the City's financial and business district with easy access to some of the best attractions the city has to offer, including the theatre, museums, art galleries, shopping and restaurants.

As a qualified lawyer at Burges Salmon, you will be expected to contribute, support and enhance Burges Salmon's unique proposition in a manner consistent with the firm's core values. You will be expected to actively participate in the firm's efforts to cultivate new and existing clients; to continue to improve your technical skills and your understanding and application of the professional standards required of you as a lawyer; and to contribute positively to the culture of the firm.

Requirements
We look for individuals who have developed themselves and their capabilities, coupled with strong commercial acumen and experience. You will have recent work experience in your specialist sector. You will be a strong team player, able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and be self-motivated.
