The company are looking to hire applicants who are working as a Biomedical Scientist (with experience in electrophoresis and HbA1c), very commercially minded looking to move into a customer-facing scientific sales role.
This is a Sales Specialist post, travelling to customer sites around 3-4 days per week with the remainder of the time working from home. It will involve working with key customer accounts and developing new business opportunities across the region.
PRODUCTS: Clinical Electrophoresis technology
TERRITORY: Half of London and South of the UK (south of the M4 corridor)
CUSTOMERS: NHS and private clinical laboratories
This region has been very well managed, with systems and analysers placed in a high proportion of NHS trusts!
This is autonomous role with the opportunity to capitalise on a good volume of current business and grow accounts alongside this!
Role:
Maintain existing business relationships and strengthen partnerships
Identify and develop new business opportunities, assist with pre-tender work and information required for tender submission
Deliver product presentations and assist with demonstrations, installations and application issues when required
Ensure familiarity with the company's products, customers, competitor activity and market knowledge
Work closely with the Product Management and Application Specialist team to ensure excellent customer service
Attend relevant exhibitions, seminars and training courses when required
Person Specification:
Life Sciences based degree or equivalent
Proven experience in diagnostics sales
The company will also consider commercially minded Biomedical Scientists with experience of electrophoresis or HbA1c who are driven to move into sales
Excellent I.T, presentation and communication skills
