Opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a pro audio installation company and identify new business opportunities, specify and quote systems, and carry out product demonstrations for a range of clients and venues.

This company has been around for over 30 years and is well known in the pro audio world - the name alone gives you a head start against competitors and they are widely regarded as one of the best in the audio business.

I'm therefore looking for someone who is already working in pro audio in a sales/business development/client facing role and is comfortable talking directly with customers to provide high levels of service. Of course you also need to know your way around a whole lot of pro audio kit, from single microphones to whole-venue systems.

Joining their technical sales team, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities across supply, installation and support of pro audio equipment for a range of projects and venues including live music, theatres, schools and houses of worship, using the very best pro audio brands in the business - this company is all about quality and that's reflected in the audio manufacturers they partner with.

The Role:

-Identifying new business opportunities for pro audio installations and equipment supply
-Responding to incoming sales enquiries
-Working with audio manufacturers to deliver product demos
-Visiting client sites to specify/quote equipment
-Managing relationships with customers
-Increasing brand awareness
-Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions, seminars and other audio industry events

The Person:

-Experience working in pro audio in a sales, business development or other client facing role
-Comfortable and confident talking to customers
-Outstanding technical knowledge of a range of pro audio equipment
-Detailed understanding of AV system integration - audio, lighting, video and control systems
-Able to build long-term relationships based on technical knowledge rather than traditional sales techniques
