This is an exciting role for an individual who is passionate about the creative arts, as well as developing a role in education. You will be working with state of the art equipment, and a supportive team of staff who are dedicated to the success of the department throughout the school:
Main responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of materials and equipment for lessons
- Maintenance of machinery and tools
- Organise the storage and distribution of resources and maintain systems
- Support with the display of work during exhibitions
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Technical knowledge in at least one of the following: Fine Art, 3D Design, Digital Media, Food Technology
- Passion for working in education, and ideally previous experience working with young people
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures including safeguarding
- Excellent communication skills and a positive and proactive attitude towards working
- Current DBS (or willingness to apply for one through Reed Education)
