An amazing company, who produce high quality conference, globally, are looking for an individual to join the business and start their journey in the delegate sales team. You will begin your journey selling tickets for their international events! They organise and host 60 industry leading events around the world that cover a variety of sectors including Pharma, Energy, Technology, Travel and Transport. They are currently the #1 medium sized conference business in the UK and the fastest growing events company in the UK. Once you have gained all of your knowledge of the company and the different market spaces, you can gain from the clear progression path and move up in to exciting role within the events industry!

The Role

  • Selling high value delegate packages to senior stakeholders and managers of businesses building great commercial relationships.
  • All contacts have expressed an interest in attending so you are simply educating them on the conference and selling them their ticket packages.
  • These skills are important to then help you progress into a marketing, production or operational role (or stay within sales and progress).
  • A great bonus structure and potential opportunity's for international travel.
  • NO Cold Calling!

The Candidate

  • Self-motivated with a thirst for learning which will allow you to work hard and carve out a successful career in sales or conferences
  • Motivation to progress quickly to get the most out of this exciting opportunity and progress up within the business!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills which will allow you to be confidence on the phone talking to senior level executives from major industries
  • Money-motivated with a determined outlook and a strong drive for results will allow you to hit the ground running and learn lots about this industry
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and organise time efficiently to hit the ground running and earn great commission.
