Our client is a leading software, IT and Digital engineering consultancy.
Who are they hiring?
Joining our client at board level as a Managing Director, you will be tasked with the operational and commercial responsibility of managing the business at a regional level by effectively leading local senior board members and collaborating with peers across the group to contribute and support the ongoing development of group wide strategy.
Ensuring the technical quality and delivery of all client work in your region is achieved and maintained, you must keep key team members up to date on each of your projects, including the risks and issues and how they’re being addressed. This will enable them to manage and develop the service offerings that give our client a strong go to market offering and ensure that they have appropriate team capabilities and scale to meet their client demands.
Essentially, your regional senior team have individual ownership of the key elements of Technical
Delivery and evolution, Operations and Business Development across existing clients - however, you will have total accountability for their performance. Whilst each should work effectively and in tandem, you should ensure that all of their objectives are met collaboratively and effectively.
Who they are looking for:
With a proven ability at Principal Consultant and Board level, having worked on several client accounts over time, you should have experience of end to end responsibility for the P and L of a business division and be capable of implementing and delivering an executive strategy. Engaging, influential and able to empower others, you will be an exceptional leader who can build and grow large teams who has a solid understanding of commercial frameworks and led bids and sale processes (e.g. pitches, framework submissions, RFP/RFIs).
