The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen in a busy and proactive FM team, providing strong strategic and project management service for a buoyant and expanding company. This role will deliver a diverse range of construction and fit out projects across MBDA's UK property portfolio. Specifically at the Bristol site there will be an on-going sustained development over the next few years and so this role gives the opportunity to lead the delivery of a complex programme through its inception through to full operation.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will need to have a can do, calm and professional attitude. You will need to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach and be results orientated. To succeed in his role you will need to be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
The successful candidate should have significant experience in managing the delivery of Construction projects, and will have a broad understanding of buildings, infrastructure and engineering and may be working toward chartered status within the CIOB or CIBSE, or an engineering body. The candidate should also have a good understanding of project management techniques confirmed in a formal qualification such as Prince 2 or APMP.
There is a requirement for this role to travel to MBDA UK sites (Stevenage, Bristol & Bolton) to deliver projects. This may require consecutive overnight stays, so candidates should be aware of this travel requirement.
